When someone hears the word Islam, the first thing that comes across their mind is TERRORISTS. Yet, in contrast, Islam really means peace and to submit to your Creator. Most people have negative thoughts about Islam. But once they research about Islam, they know that Islam is the truth. This is why Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. |
In Islam, we believe that there is only one TRUE God and that his name is ALLAH. This is the God that all the Prophets, from Adam to Mohammed, use to pray to and seek refuge in. The lord of the heavens and the earth. The Holy Qur'an states: In the Name of Allah, the Beneficient, the Most Merciful. 1. Say: He is God; The One and Only; 2. God, the Eternal, Absolute; 3. He begetteth not, Nor is He begottenn; 4. And there is none Like unto Him. This is Surat IKHLAS, or Purity (of faith) in Capter 112 of the Holy Qur'an. From these four verses, the nature of Allah is indicated to us. I invite YOU to have no other God except Allah, the only TRUE God. It is He, the Creator, who deserves to be worshiped, not the created ones. | ||||||||||||||||

Who is Muhammed (PBUH)? Is he God or God's son? These are some questions that come across people's minds. Most people think that Muhammed (PBUH) is the muslim's god. Well, if you think like this, you are wrong. Muhammed (PBUH) is a prophet of Allah. He is just like Adam, Abraham, Moses and Jesus (Peace Be Upon Them). His mission was to spread the word of Islam. A LITTLE ABOUT THE HISTORY OF MUHAMMED: Muhmmed was born in Arabia in the year 570 C.E. (common era). He started to spread the religion of Truth (Islam), when he was 40 years old. Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) changed the whole arabian peninsula from idolatry to the worship of one God. He preached for 23 years until his death at the age of 63. In the 23 years that he was preaching Islam, the whole holy Qur'an was revealed to him. He had conquered a lot of areas. History has never seen a man as powereful as Muhammed (PBUH).
